Images we see daily, are often manipulated digitally. This has a major influence on the way we look at the world around us. We expect visual perfection, because this is what we get presented. So we become more and more focussed on the way we present ourselves.
Software like Photoshop enables us to construct ourselves as we wish to be seen. Altering our external characteristics and presenting images of ourselves in the most flattering way. Creating an unrealistic ”perfection”.
